Privacy policy
LoopPoint does not collect, transmit, or share any data. There is no server to send it to.
What the extension stores
Everything is kept in your own browser, using Chrome's extension storage, and never leaves it:
- Your loops. For each video you have looped, the start and end points, whether looping is on, the playback speed, and the video's id and title. Up to 500 videos; the least recently used is dropped after that.
- Your settings. Seam mode, audio fade, marker visibility, auto-restore, and your key bindings.
- Which corner you dragged the panel to.
You can delete all of it at any time from the options page ("Clear all loops"), or by removing the extension, which discards its storage with it.
When you uninstall
Chrome opens the uninstall feedback page after the extension has been removed.
- The extension sends nothing. It registers the address in advance and is then deleted; Chrome opens the page afterwards, by itself.
- The address carries no information. No identifier, no version number, no installation date — nothing is appended to it, so the page cannot distinguish one uninstall from another.
- The page asks why you removed it. Answering is optional and composes an email in your own mail app, which you can read, edit, or discard. Closing the tab sends nothing.
